Hi,
I got a P2-1515-128X64-32S-S2 Matrix but it seems that only half of the rows is being adressed.
This is my command:
sudo ./demo -D 0 --led-cols=128 --led-rows=64 --led-row-addr-type=0 --led-brightness=100
I also tested all variations of address types and multiplexing options. The line above gave me the best output so far.
Which gives me this output:
Here’s a picture of the back of the panel:
The panel did work with another library with an esp32 so the panel itself should be good.
Happy to get your advice, thanks!
please test the connection of pin C
What do you mean by that?
I just double checked that it’s connected to the correct pin.
According to the picture, you have a problems with connection of line switching pins A-E, most probably with C. It might be a loose connections, a bad soldering on the Raspberry or on the LED panel, or an issue with a cable.
Try to change the board, panel and cable if you have another ones.
@moustacheaexl
Could you read an ID on chips Q5 and Q6 of the panel?
Thats’s a good point. I’ll swap the raspberry to another one. I tested the panel with an esp and that works without a problem. So the panel itself should be good.
you are indeed missing an address line (I originally said E but it could be C). Check your connection board and make sure all 5 address pins are connected
