I purchased two of these panels (The P1.875 ones)
I had no prior indication of what chipset they use, but upon receiving them, I see that the chips are Chipone ICND2153 AP
The wiki for this library says that “This library does not support PWM panels”
Looking at the ICND2153 on the Chipone site, it seems to be a PWM chip?
Looking on the DMD_STM32 wiki, I see ICDN2153 listed (Note the D is before the N) - doing some googling, I see no evidence of this panel existing. Is this maybe a typo? Anyway, that page lists the ICDN2153 as supported, but lists the type as “S-PWM”. Not sure if that is different from PWM?
The wiki does say “assume that all supported panels there should work with this library” - should that maybe read “assume that all supported panels there (that are not S-PWM) should work with this library”?
Furthermore, I have the Electrodragon active driver board v3. On this page, it says “probably NOT supported Panels: ICN2153 ICN2053 chips” (But note that it says ICN, not ICND, and there is an ICN variant as well as ICND)
I tried all manner of options, and none of the demos seem to do anything. I see no life at all on the panel, and the current draw on my PSU barely increases when I run anything - it’s at 0.28A when the demo is not running, and goes up to 0.35A when the demo is running (This is for both the Pi Zero and the panel) If I unplug the panel, it goes down to 0.26A, so it looks like the panel is getting power
Advice please.
