Finding compatible panels

Hi! I am trying to buy a bunch of panels wholesale but I am struggling to figure out whether or not the panels I intend to buy will work with the library. I already purchased one panel I thought was compatible, but it seems to require an unsupported init sequence. From my own research and troubleshooting, I am pretty sure what I want is a panel “standard” type ic drivers, but I am struggling to actually determine what type of driver any panel I look at actually uses. Does anyone have any advice?

HI

See the table

Every chip marked green will compatible with the library

Right, my problem is finding panels that have the chips in question. I can’t find any listings for panels that actually say what chip they have.

The only way I know - write to sender and ask him before purchase

Update:
Furthermore, times change; libraries are now emerging for panels that were not previously supported. You might want to consider this option as well.

You are correct. Please look at Qiangli Q2.5 128x64 Output is White bars - #30 by marcmerlin
Basically you need to know a vendor who actually understands that chips matter and will guarantee the chip that will be mailed to you, before it is mailed

You can contact Hongren Su / Azerone / whatsapp number: +86 159 2059 2439
You can ask him what you need and he will tell you what you can do.
Normally you wouldn’t send money to a random company in China but I’ve worked with him for about 5 years, I can vouch for him
