HUB75 not displaying correct colours

i’m using an adafruit bonnet with a raspberry pi zero w with 2 chained hub75 matrices, and i’m having trouble with my colours. when displaying my image, which has one shade of yellow, it would only display red. eventually i got it to display pink, but still not yellow. i’m new to this type of thing so i’m lost, any tips are appreciated !
