I have been using the matrix (Adafruit 16x32) with the Hzeller code since 2017. Since my wife has been dusting the display yesterday, there is an error on the display. In the first column a blue line is shown up to half of the display.
If no program is running, only one pixel is blue. I have rewired it, without success. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Is the display damaged?

I have seen lines like that happen when I got a short on the back of the panel. It might be fixable if you know how to do trace surgery, but if not, assume it’s permanent damage.
I have a fair amount of panels that got damaged in various ways like this unfortunately

thank you very much for your feedback. It will probably be a short circuit. Unfortunately I don’t know how to do trace surgery, but I will be able to live with it.
