Hi, I bough the following LED Panels with this RGB Matrix and I’m trying to make it work in a Raspberry Pi 4.
I compiled the demo without problem but I cannot make the image to show correctly and I think is something related with the parameters.
I tried using --led-rows=32 --led-cols=64 --led-gpio-mapping=adafruit-hat but it shows as following
I also tried to play with --led-chain but doesn’t work either and I don’t know if I’m missing something.
Any help will be appreciated.
I have the exact same panels, no hat/bonnet wired directly to the pi, and getting similar results. I also found some settings to try in the WiKi and still get the same results.
other flags tried
–led-panel-type:FM6126A
–led-row-addr-type=3
–led-cols=32
–led-chain=2
–led-multiplexing=2
Still getting the same results. Motion demos do cause the leds to blink at times but thats it.
wired directly means you logic level might be worng. Try powering your panel with 4.2V instead of 5V.
Also if you have an rPi 4, you have to use --led-slowdown-gpio=2
