I am trying to use rpi-rgb-matrix to make a count down timer for my archery range. I need to be able to set for 4 minutes (we have some other rounds with different times), also a stoplight style red, yellow, green lights down the right side. Then on the bottom we will have a A B C D to show which line is supposed to be shooting. I have the Adafruit bonnet for the display and have been able to get the examples to run. I have a remote control that I am going to interface with GPIO to start the timer, change lines, and control the stoplights.

Does anyone have some examples to point to ?

Thanks!

this is just a basic programming question which has nothing to do with the library.

There is no example that is remotely close to what you’re asking for, you’re going to have to look at libraries that match whatever language you’re planning to use, and write it yourself.

You could do worse than to ask a coding AI to write this for you. Try Claude for example.
