I thought it would be nice to share my findings about P2.5 128x64-32S-JHT1 panel with FM6124EJ IC in configuration with Adafruit Triple LED Matrix Bonnet and Raspberry Pi Zero 2W running dietpi.

As I’m a total newbie I wasted a lot of time because I was convinced _adafruit-hat_ or _adafruit-hat-pwm_ is the only proper _led-hardware-mapping_ setting, while in reality this panel **works properly with default _regular_** mapping.
For me, with Zero 2W it runs fine with minimal settings of --led-rows=64 --led-cols=128 (so far it didn’t need --led-slowdown-gpio or any other tweaking in my tests)

I’ve sourced my panel from this listing: [https://aliexpress.com/item/32835581013.html](https://aliexpress.com/item/32835581013.html)

BTW. If you are using MobaXterm SSH client like I did - to save your sanity disable remote monitoring feature (bottom bar that shows device stats like cpu/ram/disk usage) as it may affect gpio pins output and cause split-second panel dimming by creating spikes when refreshing those stats every second…

today I learned that adafruit finally is making a 3 output board, basically a copy of the electrodragon active 3, but smaller. That’s actually nice, well done.
